This winter, UNITAR is delighted to deliver a 5-day field visit to Geneva, Switzerland. It will offer participants the chance to fully immerse themselves into International Geneva and thereby gain first-hand experience of the United Nations and its multilateral environment.
As a hub for global diplomacy, Geneva offers itself for a whole series of formative experiences. - multilateral conferences
- private guided tours
- career development sessions
- cultural activities
In line with UNITAR’s mandate, the Immersion Programme’s purpose is to equip participants with knowledge and skills in the area of international affairs and diplomacy. This will empower them to work more efficiently and effectively in any international environment.
It further aspires to give participants direct access to the United Nations’ Institutions and its personal, offering the opportunity to build up professional networks and gain insights into future career steps. For this reason, the programme will include activities with organizations such as:
