“We are the first country to support Azerbaijan in the field of demining. The United Nations Development Programme has sent a number of technical consultants to Azerbaijan to clear mines,” James Sharpm British Ambassador to Azerbaijan told APA.
He noted that technical advisors participate in demining works with ANAMA groups.
“We are very satisfied to be working with ANAMA groups in the demining process. By doing so, we will ensure the safety of people. In addition, many British companies in Azerbaijan support demining. According to the information that I have, our demining consultants together with ANAMA employees arrived in Jabrayil two days ago,” the ambassador noted.
