Azerbaijan permanent representative to UN sends letter to Secretary-General Antonio Guterres

Permanent representative of Azerbaijan to the United Nations Yashar Aliyev has sent a letter of protest to the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Armenia’s spread of papers in the United Nations on behalf of the so-called entity created in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan by violating flagrantly the Constitution of Azerbaijan, the Charter of the United Nations, the norms of international law and relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council.

PACE unveils issues to be discussed during its winter session

‘Report’ informs citing the press service of PACE that at its winter session in Strasbourg (21-25 January 2019), PACE will hold a joint debate on public service media in the context of disinformation and propaganda and media freedom as a condition for democratic elections. Recent changes in the Tax Code of Azerbaijan

Author of the research, Ramil Iskandarli is a Chairman of Board of the Legal Analysis and Research Public Union in Azerbaijan. He holds a LLM Master of Law degree in Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from the European University Viadrina, Frankfurt Oder, Germany. Ramil is an alumnus of the Chevening Fellowship Program on Human Rights Law at the University of Nottingham (2008), John Smith Fellowship Program (2005) in UK and participant of the International Youth Leaders Visitors Program of the US State Department (2005).
