Online Conference on COVID 19 by the Student Tink Tank Center of Georgian Technical University

On June 20, 2021, Online Student Scientific ′′World in Covid 19′′ Conference at the Faculty of Law and International Relations of the Georgian Technical University had been conducted.

The scientific conference was held with the participation of students of the International Relations Program of the Faculty of Law and International Relations of the Chinese Research Institute.

On June 2021, 20, a student scientific conference was held on the topic of ′′ World Covid 19 ′′ with the participation of students of the International Relations Specialty Program of the Faculty of Law and International Relations Faculty of the Chinese Research Institute and Student Analytical Center (student think tank center).

The conference was opened by the dean of the Faculty of Law and International Relations, Professor Irakli Gabisonia, who greeted his invited guests, wished good luck to the students and the attending community. Students from different universities of Azerbaijan also participated in the conference.

Mr. Ramil Iskandarli, the co-founder of Azerbaijan’s Think Tanks and Civil Societies Network (ATTCSN) spoke in opening ceremony as an invited quest expert, which briefed participants about the work of the ATTCSN in Azerbaijan and the idea of establishing this network in Azerbaijan, which came from the Global Think Tanks and Civil Societies Network Programs’ European event conducted 3 years ago in Brussels by Bruegel Think Tank.

The student conference moderated by the student of the Faculty of Law and International Relations Giorgi Chanturia.

At the conference, students presented interesting, diverse topics on the situation, problems and prospects of Covid-19 in the USA, Europe and Asia.

Member of the organizational group of the conference Kamala Ashumova and other students, Ana Matveychuk, Ana Ferani, Valeria Starnichenko, Giorgi Chanturia, Tina Merzantova, Mikheil Giorgadze, Suli Kazim-Zade, David Margiani, Giorgi Khukhua, Melano Megreladze, Ali Vatsanaev, Goar Jinisiani, Lia Gvinjilia, Sofiko Solomonashvili and Tamila Chitava took an active part in the event.
