Chairman of the Public Council Ramil Iskandarli, Deputy Chairman of the Public Council Rahile Mehdiyeva, Secretary Mahsati Huseynova, as well as members Gunel Gozelova and Mammad Katanov took part in the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, Vusal Huseynov highlighted effective cooperation with civil society in accordance with the activities of the State Migration Service and informed the members of the Public Council about the changes made in the migration legislation during the past period, as well as the works planned to be implemented in the current year in the field of migration.
Positively assessing the activity of the Public Council under the State Migration Service, the head of the Service expressed hope that the cooperation will develop further.
Then, the meeting discussed the work done by the Public Council under the State Migration Service, the current situation in the field of migration, and joint activities planned and implemented during the first half of 2024.
Later, members of the Public Council made a number of proposals for the efficient and effective implementation of public participation.
Other issues of interest in the field of migration were discussed at the meeting.
