The Agency on State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan has announced the results of a special competition dedicated to the “Year of Shusha” in Shusha.
Vusal Guliyev, Head of the Department for Work and Communication with Non-Governmental Organizations of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Maftun Abbasov, Chairman of the Board of the Shusha State Reserve Department, Aygun Aliyeva, Executive Director of the Agency on State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations, other officials of the Agency , NGOs and media representatives attended.
Before the event, the memory of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Opening the event, Aygun Aliyeva, Executive Director of the Agency informed about the stages of the grant competition dedicated to the Year of Shusha and said that the performance of the winning organizations in management of the project will be periodically monitored.
Vusal Guliyev, Head of the Department for Work and Communication with Non-Governmental Organizations of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, congratulated the winning organizations and noted the importance of implementing various projects in Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan.
Chairman of the Shusha State Reserve Department Maftun Abbasov said he was pleased to greet everyone in Shusha and thanked civil society representatives for their initiatives in promoting Shusha.
In the end, the names of the winning organizations and grant amounts were announced.
It should be noted that 227 projects in 8 areas were submitted to the grant competition. A decision was made to finance 22 NGO projects.
