Members of the Public Council under the State Migration Service visited the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on a two-day business trip. First, the members paid a tribute to the national leader of our people, Heydar Aliyev, by visiting his monument erected in the center of Nakhchivan city.
Then the members of the Council visited the Nakhchivan Regional Migration Chief Department headquarters and got acquainted with the working environment of the employees. They were given detailed information about the protection of the rights of foreigners and stateless persons in the regions covered by the office and their legalization in the country, electronic services, regularly organized educational events and other activities.
Council members also visited the Nakhchivan ASAN Service Center and got acquainted with the work of the Migration section operating there. The employees who gave general information about the activities of the section talked about various aspects of the organized work and answered the questions of the council members.
In addition, the current state of conditions created for foreigners in the detention center for illegal migrants in the city of Nakhchivan in accordance with the migration legislation was monitored. Council members assessed the level of services provided to migrants, and concluded that the center is organized in accordance with the legislation.
