One of the important aspects of our country’s migration policy is creating favorable conditions to ensure the full social integration of migrants living in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan into our society, application of a whole-of-society approach to addressing all aspects of migration issues, as well as promotion of the involvement of migrants themselves in this process.
Establishment of the Migrant Council under the State Migration Service is carried out in order to contribute to the above-mentioned goals, at the same time to ensure more active participation of migrants residing in our country in the migration management of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to improve the effectiveness of the protection of their human rights and freedoms, the quality of services provided to foreigners and stateless persons and to ensure transparency, as well as to assess the impact of the decisions taken in the sphere of migration on daily life of foreigners.
The registration of the candidates is launched to determine the members of the Migrant Council under the State Migration Service until February 25, 2022.
In this regard, we invite foreigners and stateless persons living in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan for a long period of time, having close contacts with the communities and diaspora organizations of their countries of origin operating in our country, as well as distinguished in public activity, to take an active part in the activity of the Council.
It is important for the persons intending to run for membership in the Council to submit the following information:

The composition of the Migrant Council will be determined by the State Migration Service from among the candidates upon completion of the nomination process.
